Worrying about immigration is worrying about the future of citizens who deserve the greatest care from the State; They also know this very well at the Danube Institute, an organization that has been promoting ideas and concepts related to democracy and patriotism for 11 years, which, according to themselves, can only be protected through the nation-state, which offers the only secure base. for democracy, and that a tolerant civic nationalism is the only basis for successful democratic internationalism. They bring this to concrete with research, analysis, publication, debate and academic exchange.
Taking advantage of the occasion of the celebration of CPAC Hungary 2024 we held a meeting on April 26 with the researcher, immigration expert and stable member of the institute's staff, Dr. Krisztóf Veres, where the challenges in this important topic in the world could be analyzed, in his words "immigration is the great issue of our time", with the migratory waves that many countries suffer and that are generating serious problems in the coexistence and harmony of those who reside in Europe and that now unfortunately shares this reality, Chile. We express to you that in recent years there has been a true invasion (given the volume) of foreigners who no longer only come to look for work or others who can be welcomed as refugees from failed states, as some leftist governments try to do. appear, but individuals arrive with the clear intention of carrying out delinquent and criminal actions that have even led to phenomena for Chileans, unknown until now, such as hitmen, kidnapping and dismemberment.
This entire panorama, for the vast majority, bleak, was contrasted with the immigration policies that the Hungarian state has implemented for years, which have been tremendously criticized by the European Union and have been falsely accused of not respecting the Schengen boundary treaties. (through which anyone who has regularly entered through an external border can move freely) and whose accusation is only a product of the discredit agenda promoted by the left towards countries like Hungary.
Taking care of the social fabric, the speed of entry of individuals from other countries and its homogeneity implies observing the quality of immigration that arrives in the country, and emphasizing how delicate cultural clashes are if the safeguards it deserves are not taken, is a priority. in the words of the Danube Institute researcher, who is a specialist in the topic by developing it from the complex and interdisciplinary analysis of the Central American migration crisis using the European migration crisis as a comparative framework.
In this sense, Dr. Veres was very inclined to develop a line of collaboration with the Latin American context, in particular with the Pacific Alliance, (Chile, Peru and Colombia) that is currently suffering a true hidden war from the narco-communist government of Nicolás Maduro and which has seen how a very effective and attractive way to collect foreign exchange that originally goes to family members in the Caribbean state but takes advantage of these remittances from different countries.
Returning to the Hungarian case, Viktor Orban's administration is criticized for its policy regarding the labor market and workforce, in which jobs would be reserved only for Hungarians, which is not true, what happens is that foreign coverage is carried out only in case there are no local workers available. Regarding the separate categories of work permits based on qualifications, residence permits can be extended if the applicant meets the conditions of social coexistence, demonstrated by an exam on Hungarian culture, which is natural and logical to have to measure the insertion of individuals who come to a society, and prevent them from forming ghettos that can range from innocuous isolated communities to pockets of crime where drug and human trafficking prevail and that even lead, in most cases, to the impossibility of the presence of the State.
Certainly all of this poses challenges in terms of national security in terms of police management and their training in terms of border intelligence and information exchange with neighboring countries, which has been successfully addressed by the Hungarian government, only it is permanently seen. pressured by the communication factor that is presented in the face of these events and the media handling that can be had with this issue, which, let's say it, are not supporting order or the needs of Hungarians, but rather it is about this “migrant” (individual in permanent transit, a term coined by progressivism) liquefies societies like those that the Marxist, former member of the Polish Communist Party, and recognized follower of Gramsci, the philosopher Polish-British Zygmund Bauman wanted in his ideal world without borders.
