Participation in Open Dialogues CEU/CEFAS+Juan de Mariana

JL Think Tank has participated in the 4th meeting of Open Dialogues, an event that is coordinated between the CEU-CEFAS (Center for Studies, Training and Social Analysis) belonging to the San Pablo CEU University Foundation, with its headquarters in Madrid and the Juan de Mariana Institute.

The initiative was marked by the presence of different thought and study centers in countries such as Guatemala, Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Colombia and Chile, where we also had the opportunity to present our think center incubator.

Specifically, we talked about the elections in Mexico to be held this coming June 2, where unfortunately the leftist candidate supported by the PAN Bertha Xochitl Galvez Ruiz would comfortably win the presidency according to the polls. The representative of Patria Unida, Alice Galván, expressed that a great task must be done from our sector to seek the representation and defense of the values of family, tradition and protect citizens from the woke culture.

Then it was the turn of the person in charge of communication strategy of the National Civil Movement of Guatemala, Christa Walters, who gave the characteristics of the political process that is being experienced in the Central American country with the corruption case that involves the attorney general and that the president of Guatemala, Bernardo Arévalo de León, announced on Sunday, May 5, that he will seek to modify the law that prohibits the removal of the head of the Public Ministry, in order to remove her from office.

This instance offers a great opportunity to highlight and present to the Latin American concert the different initiatives and characteristics that the countries are having and how our incubator can collaborate and be helped in the mission of generating a solid ecosystem where citizens can be correctly informed about the events of our countries.
